Senior Consultant Transaction Banking / Payments (m/w/d)

Our Transaction Banking team supports renowned large corporations in the German banking, insurance, and asset management sectors across a wide range of projects involving cash management, payments, trade finance, and digital banking.

We are looking for experienced professionals who are eager to contribute their Transaction Banking expertise to our team.

• You will be responsible for delivering complex Transaction Banking projects with a strong focus on quality, ownership, and client needs.
• You will define your own area of specialization—whether as a project manager, business analyst, or subject matter expert in one of the following fields:
  • Cash Management / Liquidity Management, such as cash pooling, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization
  • Payments, such as SEPA, instant payments, and ISO 20022
  • Trade Finance, such as documentary business, supply chain finance, and guarantees
  • Digital Banking & Innovation, such as API banking, open banking, and blockchain applications
• With our support, you will further develop your skills through an individual training and development plan.
• Together with us, you will continue to develop your business case to support sustainable project acquisition and ensure your long-term project utilization. If you are interested, we will support you on your path towards an (Equity) Partnership.
• You will also have the option to contribute to the further development of our company through Corporate Development initiatives.

• Several years of consulting experience with a focus on Transaction Banking
• In-depth expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  • Payment systems and processes
  • Cash management and liquidity management
  • Trade finance instruments and processes
  • Digitalization in Transaction Banking
• The ability to analyze complex matters in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• A university degree with at least good academic results in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable field
• An excellent track record in both your work and project delivery
• Very good German skills; non-native speakers should have at least a good command of German and be willing to improve further
• Very good English skills
